Thanks to all who supported me and encouraged me in this campaign. As I was
pulling up signs this morning, a man came out of his house and said I should
run again, and to please keep a spotlight on the actions of the Ramsey
County Board in the meantime. That's all I needed to know that the fight
was worth it.
We got over 10,000 votes and more than a third of the total despite being outspent 6 to 1.
I stand by everything I said in the campaign. In a free and honest society we cannot tolerate politicians voting themselves a 25% raise, no matter how important they think they are. The campaigns of the three challengers put the incumbents on the defensive and hopefully they will rethink some of their habits.
